Always politically incorrect, occasionally humorous, sometimes philosophical but mostly irrelevant best describes my writing. A self-proclaimed farm boy who left the farm but wouldn’t mind being back there, writing is an opportunity to express opinions, thoughts and outlooks in a ever changing world. Poking fun at food nazis, criticizing NASCAR, wondering about country music, looking for the ideal banana pudding maker and remembering youthful days at the beach are some of the subjects of my “Whittling & Wondering” series. In addition to writing, I am a qualified mule breaker and certified goat tamer. I also hire out as a BS consultant or workplace productivity trainer for the bean-counters paying the invoice. So if you need tall tales told with occasionally short truths thrown in, I am your man.

Currently hired out for wages I often call myself a fiction writer because in my work life, I have written many fictional works such as justifying cost/benefit, making the boss look good and expounding my worth to the organization. Now I have decided to give real writing a try. So the great American novel awaits or at least another cookbook.

Along with my best friend, buddy and companion – Pete, we are constantly exploring (and sniffing) new ideas and lampooning old ones.
