Metta Pittman lives with her husband, John, in Chesterfield County, 
South Carolina. They  have three children, eight grandchildren, and 
two pet dogs. Metta has worked as a newspaper reporter for two small 
weekly publications and has won two first place awards in writing contests. 
She is interested in learning how to write fiction and may also try her 
hand at poetry someday. She enjoys attending the Union County Writers' 
Group because each member has a different writing style, which adds 
interest to every meeting. She also feels that she learns a lot about 
writing from the guest speakers who address the group on a regular basis.
