Joyce and Jim Lavene are a married writing team. They've written and sold more than forty novels since 1999, (including the award winning Sharyn Howard mystery series). They also write a wide array of non-fiction articles and books. They are active in local and national writer's groups, where they lecture and give workshops on the craft of writing. They live in Midland, North Carolina with their three children and three grandchildren. Their hobbies are watercolor painting, photography, and driving. Jim is a former computer analyst and Joyce is a naturopathic healer and herbalist.
